When we were in New York I, of course, had to make a stop at Sephora to see what beauty goodies I could get my hands on and, oh, I wasn't disappointed at all. They had some fantastic gift sets on offer and it probably took me in the region of an hour to make my way around the shop and decide what I wanted to purchase. I ended up settling on a fantastic mask set from Peter Thomas Roth, the Mask-A-Holic 6-Piece Kit, containing five of his best selling face masks as well as a mask applicator. I've just checked on the Sephora website and it says this set is limited edition and exclusive, retailing at $75, but with a value of $230. The size of the masks you get in this set are honestly incredible, almost 50ml, and I'm sure they're going to last for at least ten masks per pot. In the set you get the following:
- Cucumber Gel Mask
- Gold Pure Luxury Lift and Firm Mask
- Blue Marine Algae Intense Hydrating Mask
- Pumpkin Enzyme Mask
- Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask
- Signature Applicator

If you've ever heard of Peter Thomas Roth you'll undoubtedly have heard of at least one of these masks, most notably the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask and the Blue Marine Algae Hydrating mask. I had been having a bit of a crap time with my skin from about June onwards last year, it turned out to be peri-oral dermatitis which had to be treated with antibiotics, I might go into this in another blog post soon, but because of this I had been doing very very little to my skin because before it was treated, I had no idea what was wrong and didn't want to aggravate the problem. This meant no fancy oils, no exfoliating serums or toners and no face masks. It was a skincare draught and so I was thirsty for some luxury skincare when I went shopping! Thankfully my skin is back to normal (touch wood) so I feel happy trying out products again.
I've used all of the masks at least once since we returned from our honeymoon and I'm going to do separate review on each of them, but I wanted to let you know about this fabulous set before they sell out. I've not actually tried the applicator yet, it seems a bit gimmicky, but I should probably give it a go and if I do I'll let you know.
