A LOOK INSIDE MY PLANNER

I've become a little bit obsessed with watching planner videos recently, this probably goes along with my being demotivated thing, getting sucked into the YouTube recommendations and somehow ending up watching a 30 minute video on the comparison between a Louis Vuiton MM vs. GM (if you're into the whole planning thing this will make sense). But, it has inspired me to get more organised in the hopes it will help me become more motivated (what a weird circle) and I think it has actually been helping. I find that if I write down what I want to get done that day in the morning I am honestly so much more likely to actually get it done and have a sense of achievement by the end of the day. I've bought a few bits off Etsy so wanted to give you a look around, there is so much cute stuff out there for planners on Etsy it was really hard to choose from, but the layout I have in terms of calendar and daily to-dos is working really well for me so far.

The planner I have is the Filofax Saffiano Personal planner (I can't remember the colour name!). I hadn't really been using it because I find the actual Filofax inserts so uninspiring, but having discovered the plethora of other inserts available I really wanted to make it more personalised and user friendly. I'm in love with what I have in here so far, the dividers and dashboards are so cute and really help to just perk everything up a bit. The dividers that I chose were from My Pretty Week and came in a pack of 5, I love the colours and the fact that each one is different, and they're obviously really handy for separating each section of the planner out.
The dashboards I bought were from Swci Stationery. They're lovely and add a little bit of fun to the planer, however, I will say that I could have easily made these myself (if I had a laminator anyway). The images are nice but I could have easily just found them on Google, printed them off and laminated them myself, but I am pleased enough with them and they were pretty inexpensive.

These 'Daily Planner' inserts were bought as a digital download from Sunshine Prints Shop, all I did was print them off, cut them out and hole punch them, very easy and it means I can print off as many as I want, whenever I want. I really wanted to whole page planner because I like to write to do lists, as well as timings for what I want to get done, so a diary that has multiple days on one page never really works for me. This spread has enough space and some separation of tasks and timings, which I'm finding very easy to use so far.
The 'Notes' pages below I bought from Ult Success Planner and I decided to actual buy these already printed, as opposed to a printable download, because I hoped the paper quality would be slightly nicer than mine and thankfully it is! I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a thing about writing on good quality paper when making notes so I'm very happy with these.
The monthly spread pages below were printable downloads from Paper Scribbles Co. I wanted to be able to plan in each month but didn't necessarily want the day-to-day spreads as well, so these were perfect with enough room to write in certain events, appointments etc. and a nice font to make it all look lovely. Once again, this was a printable so I just printed them off, cut them out (I used the clear Filofax insert as a template) and hole punched them.

I've still got the Filofax address pages in because they're handy to have and I do use them quite a lot. The 'Flamingo' dashboard type thing was just a quick one I downloaded and printed off from Elena's Papers, but I really need to do it again and get it laminated because at the moment it's just a piece of paper with no protection and I'm not really feeling it (which is why it's hidden at the back).
Also at the back I have just a couple of little mementos, firstly the 'Time to drink champagne...' is actually what was on the back of my wedding invitations, I just got it printed off from an online photo printer and it adds a bit of fun as well as nice memories, and finally I've just added in the really cute save the date I received from my friend last week, I figured it was something lovely to keep and having it in here will keep me reminded of the date (not that I would forget!!).
